CLIENT ASK: Create a memorable, striking title card for the series open. It was essential to research Edo-period Japan and follow the nuanced principles of Wabi-Sabi philosophy.

After extensive research and close collaboration with the client, we partnered with the talented Aio Yamaguchi to craft the most authentically Japanese title design possible. Each episode features a custom color and a unique hanko stamp that reflects its theme.

Aio was commissioned to produce the Japanese characters. She recorded the process so we could use the real motion in animation.
