CLIENT ASK: Create a bright, bold and exaggerated illustrative re-telling of the movie… a la the 1995 classic Friday.
In a stop motion style animation, we took our two leads through "The Jungles" (Baldwin Village in South LA).
The aesthetic is loose and funny. It's unpolished and laid-back, just like our girls!
Production artwork : Once the project was awarded based off of the initial storyboard (above) our team built large layered vignettes for the animator.
